This article provides an overview of the engagement of the European Commission, the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership, the Maltese host of the 4th European Youth Work Convention and the network of National Agencies of the EU youth programmes.

    Die Weiterentwicklung von Youth Work beschleunigen: Vierte European Youth Work Convention

    Vom 27. bis 30. Mai 2025 kamen rund 500 Fachkräfte, Forschende und politische Entscheidungsträger*innen in Valletta, Malta, zur 4th European Youth Work Convention zusammen. Unter dem Motto „Youth Work Xcelerate“ diskutierten sie zentrale Themen wie Anerkennung, Qualität, Inklusion und strukturelle Förderung. Die Ergebnisse fließen in eine neue europäische Roadmap zur Stärkung von Youth Work ein – und schärfen damit die European Youth Work Agenda und setzen so die Arbeit des Bonn-Prozesses fort.
