Towards the 4th European Youth Work Convention

2025 will see the 4th European Youth Work Convention take place. The Conventions have been a feature of European Youth Work since 2010 happening every five years. They are probably the single most important event series in the youth work calendar. This 4th one will take place in Malta from the 27th to 30th May 2025. To learn about the developments of this important event, we interviewed Marvic Debono, head of the youth sector with the National Agency in Malta responsible for Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps.

European Academy on Youth Work: Future developments and their impact on youth work

The conference “Value and Recognition of Youth Work” took place from 4 to 7 December 2023, in Zagreb, Croatia. The aim was to engage stakeholders from the community of practice in a professional debate on recognition. As a direct result of the conference, five pocket books were created, each diving deeper into a specific aspect of recognition, making these pocket books essential reading for anyone interested in the recognition of youth work!

Value and Recognition of Youth Work

The conference “Value and Recognition of Youth Work” took place from 4-7 December 2023 in Zagreb, Croatia. The conference was part of the strategic partnership of 16 National Agencies (NA) for the implementation of the EU youth programmes Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps, and SALTO Youth Resource Centres (SALTO RC) who are keen to implement and strengthen the European Youth Work Agenda (EYWA) through the Bonn Process.
